I've been a bit out of touch - internet access has been either difficult or unappealing lately, and my phone got stolen on the boat from Cagayan to Cebu, so twitter's out for now too.
But I just figured I'd drop a line. I'll be arriving in Manila Wednesday night, and should have better access.

- I notice that most of my posts begin with apologizing for not posting more. I drink too much coffee, don't sleep enough, and am more likely to run into friends at the library than at the bar. Once upon a time, though, I had an exciting life that involved traveling all over the world and otherwise leaving the house. I intend to resume these things some day...

Thanks...after hearing what happened to passengers on *another* Sulpicio ferry, I'm grateful to escape with everything but my cellphone intact! I've emailed you my new number, hope to see you in Manila.
